Berikut kutipannya:

"Over the past 12 months, there have been literally thousands of "terrorist" attacks on Muslim countries, but the media has remained staunchly silent about the majority of them: Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, Afghanistan...
1 day before the Paris incident, a double explosion rocked Beirut killing dozens of people and injuring hundreds more, but no world leaders cried out against it. No global media coverage was made... But when Paris was struck, it was (and still is) breaking news all over the world and Obama stood up and declared,
"Once again, we’ve seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians. This is an attack not just on Paris, it’s an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share.
We stand prepared and ready to provide whatever assistance that the government and the people of France need to respond. France is our oldest ally. The French people have stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States time and again. And we want to be very clear that we stand together with them in the fight against terrorism and extremism."

So what is he saying here? If they aren't an ally, they aren't a part of humanity? They are not entitled to the same level of respect and sympathy that a US ally nation should get?
The so called "universal" values are in no way "universal" if they are not applied equally to everyone.
When are they going to realise that life is life? It doesn't matter what creed, colour, or religion a person is. It doesn't matter what country, nation, or state they come from.
People are people!
There are good people and there are bad people in every part of the world.
Religion does not create terrorists... However, alienation, distrust, and discrimination create resentment, resentment leads to frustration, frustration leads to anger, and anger leads to violence.
Alienation, distrust, and discrimination is what causes terrorism because we are taught to fear those around us. When we live in constant fear, the "terrorists" have reached their goal.
So now ask yourself... Who are the real terrorists?"

Tulisan wall ini sangat "waras" menggambarkan cara pandang kita sebagai warga dunia. Bagaimana menurutmu? Dan bagaimana pandanganmu sobat?
